    At Kooshy Kids, we strive to ensure your family travels are comfortable and stress-free. The airlines listed allow the use of our inflatables through various channels. We recommend obtaining written approval from the airline if unsure.

    Check each airline's safety criteria on their official websites, as they often align with our usage instructions. Note that codeshare flights are excluded from our Money Back Guarantee unless both the operating and marketing carriers are on our accepted list.

    Capture a screenshot of the accepted airlines list for proof if needed. Policies can change, so confirm with the airline and bring printed confirmation for peace of mind.

    Airlines Not Accepting Plane Bed, Hammock, or Foot Rest Devices:

    The airlines listed below are yet to officially approve, and in some cases have prohibited, the use of plane bed/footrest products. Usage of the Kooshy Kids Kooshion and similar inflatables is unlikely on these airlines. While some crew members may allow them, and you find many examples on our Insta account of the, being used on the below airlines, it is at their discretion.

    We are actively working with these airlines to encourage them to consider our products, which comply with safety standards set by IATA and other aviation regulators.

    To improve your chances of using Kooshy Kids products on flights, call your airline ahead of time. Inform them that you plan to use the product when the seatbelt sign is off, ensuring your child is secured with a seatbelt while using it, and it will be used according to their safety requirements. This proactive step can help record your intention in your booking and inform the cabin crew.

    Safety Guidelines for Optimal Usage

    To ensure the utmost safety and compliance, we kindly request that you adhere to the following conditions when using the Kooshy Kids Kooshion and/or our Inflatable Sky Bunk:

      1. Pack and securely stow the Kooshion/Sky Bunk during taxi, take-off, and landing. Inflate it only when the seatbelt sign is switched off.
      2. Do not use in an exit row.
      3. Ensure that it does not obstruct aisle access for other passengers.
      4. Position the rapid deflation valves facing the aisle for easy access.
      5. Keep the child's seat belt fastened at all times while using the product/s, use a seatbelt extender where required. 
      6. Ensure the seatbelt is secured around the child's waist and if this is not possible, request a seatbelt extender (or you can purchase one from us to carry with you on all of your travels). 
      7. Children using our products should be supervised by an adult at all times.
      8. Encourage children to face forward so that their heads are not near the tray table.
      9. Our products should only be used in the seats specified in our guidelines or according to specific airline guidelines.

    These product information sheets demonstrate the safety features of our products, which may assist the flight crew in their decision to permit its use. You are welcome to print these documents and take them with you to present to the crew. 

    Alternative Options for Non-Approved Airlines

    We understand that not all airlines may accept Kooshy Kids Kooshion and/or Inflatable Sky Bunk. In such cases, we offer two alternatives:
