Position: Office Manager (Part-Time)
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm AEST (with flexibility to increase during peak periods)
✨ About the Role
This is a dynamic and rewarding part-time role ideal for someone looking to balance work and family life—particularly school parents. As the Office Manager at Kooshy Kids HQ, you’ll be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly across admin, customer support, supplier coordination and team communications.
You’ll work closely with our founder to keep schedules on track, support our retail store staff remotely, and manage a variety of office and business tasks. From liaising with suppliers and processing payments to helping coordinate staff training and posting behind-the-scenes content to socials, no two days will be the same.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-driven, confident working independently, and thrives on being helpful and organised. If you're the kind of person who loves ticking off a to-do list, can juggle multiple responsibilities with a smile, and enjoys being a go-to support for a growing team—this role is made for you.
🧾 Key Responsibilities

Manage the director’s diary, including booking appointments and sending SMS reminders

Liaise with both local and international suppliers

Manage and organise email correspondence and filing

Order office and warehouse supplies

Coordinate travel arrangements for team members

Oversee online customer service and customer order collections

Organise internal events including team lunches, staff outings, and team-building activities

Answer incoming calls and handle customer feedback calls

Ensure smooth communication between the warehouse and customer service teams

Provide daily support and communication to all airport store staff

Manage staff rosters across both Gold Coast and Melbourne locations

Handle scheduling and process supplier and contractor payments

Perform daily reconciliations and process payroll using Xero
-
Provide personal assistance to the director (e.g. managing school emails, scheduling events, avoiding diary conflicts)

Support the marketing team by uploading behind-the-scenes content (BTS) to social media

🧾 About the Role
We're seeking a motivated, experienced Store Manager to lead our flagship retail store. This is a dynamic role involving leadership, operations, sales, and creating outstanding customer experiences.
You’ll be the face of Kooshy Kids in our first retail space, managing rosters, performance, stock control and team leadership. Weekend availability is essential, with regular days off Monday and Tuesday.

You’ll be rewarded with commission on personal sales and bonuses for team performance—on top of your base award wage and penalty rates.

✨ About the Role
We’re looking for four reliable, energetic Retail Assistants to join our new flagship team. You'll be providing warm, helpful service, showcasing our travel range, and keeping the store tidy, stocked and inviting.
Our store is open 5:00 am to 9:00 pm, 365 days a year. You'll work a rotating roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
