Age limit: It is 70cm in length, so the age limit will depend on how your child likes to sleep. Seated it can be used with legs in various positions and once again, the age will depend on how your child prefers to sit. (legs crossed, knees up, or legs out etc.) Usually, the Sky Bunk can be used comfortably to lay down for children up to 115cm tall. Whether they can stretch out or curl up depends on the aircraft type, allocated row and the space it provides between seats.
Children taller than 115cm can still benefit from the Sky Bunk as a comfort item. They can sit on it with their legs crossed or slightly bent, avoiding the discomfort of having their legs dangle without support.
The maximum weight the product can hold is 80kgs.

The Inflatable Sky Bed is approved for use on over 60 airlines. The Sky Bunk can be inflated by mouth, although we suggest using one of our pumps such as the Smart Pump Pro.

My average height 2 year old fits, we made a tent with a blanket in the tray holder which he loved and once he fell asleep stayed asleep until we had to wake him for descent.

We have two year old twins. Our first leg of the journey was from Auckland to Singapore, but on Air NZ. Unfortunately, they didn’t let us use it; which is understandable as Air NZ is not on approved list yet.
The second leg was from Singapore to Mumbai, and we were allowed to use this while cruising ie not during take off or landing. It was the best 3 hours of sleep the kids had on the flight, and it allowed us to take a nap as well. They both slept comfortably and at that moment, I knew it was worth the purchase. I am so thankful that I bought the self inflating sky bunk. We flew to Canada with air Canada airlines and used the sky bunk both ways without any issues. On the way back I travelled alone with 2 children - I was able to set the sky bunk up using one hand, with my daughter asleep in my other arm, it is SO easy. I cannot recommend this product enough, my 17 month old slept 11 hours on a 15 hour flight on the sky bunk and my son who didn’t have one (4 years old) couldn’t get comfy and only slept 1 hour!
